Stanley Bay Kitchen

COMPLETION DUE MID 2021

Our clients were embarking on a complete home refresh and Cheltenham Rd. were engaged to take a look at their kitchen, dining and laundry spaces.

The house is a large villa in Stanley Point that had great bones but needed to be modernised. The home-owners were drawn to shades of dark and light and pops of natural wood tones. Cheltenham Rd. worked with an existing pendant light and wine fridge. This project also had some architectural challenges in the form of a structural pillar, expansive windows leaving little full height walls and a shallow pantry that needed to be carefully worked into the design and space planning.

The kitchen/dining was quite large so a window seat with built-in drawers was included for informal gatherings. In addition, wooden shelves were incorporated to complement the client’s existing pendant light. A large island with waterfall edge in a stunning granite contrasted with the cool tones for the outer perimeter worktops. Gorgeous subway tiles with crackled glazing complete the look as well as beautiful gunmetal taps and handles.
